Innovation consulting is an incredibly exciting yet challenging profession. For instance, when you first start working with a company with no prior innovation experience, how do you let it know how to be innovative? This is a challenging task as innovation is a lifestyle more than a disciplined process. Based on my experience, at least at the beginning, these companies should place their trust in an innovation consultant and follow the path he/she suggests. This always reminds me of the famous scene from The Matrix movie. I feel as if I am offering my clients the red pill in order to show them how deep the rabbit hole goes. Do you feel the same way?
